You can't be a bitch by day and expect to be loved at night.
	You can't talk down to people and expect to be looked up to.
	You can't look good by making others look bad.
	Attitude is everything.
	Our decisions are the result of our attitude, and we are in life just where our decisions have taken us.
	Common sense is nothing more that the result of a thought process.  Think before you act!
	Reputations are earned - not assigned!   What kind did you earn?
	Life is not a dress rehearsal.  Look your best and do your best, always.
	No one will ever know how little you know, until you open your mouth!
	You work for yourself and no one else. (What you do with your income doesn't change that.)

You can't look good by making other look bad!

What do I mean by this?

Is it really necessary to point out faults of others?  What are you really trying to do? You are trying to make yourself look better by trying to make someone else look bad or at least not as good as yourself.  You are trying to save face--put the blame elsewhere.  People! that doesn't work. You're the one who looks bad when you do that.

No one ever got a promotion by making the boss look bad.  You get raises and promotions by making the boss look good.  Stop blaming the boss for your screw-ups.  If you really were smarter than him (her), you'd be the boss.

Take credit for what you do, but be honest with yourself and everyone else--take the blame for what you have done wrong and move on.  Learn from your blunder and accept that it was you who caused it.  Your life will be less stressful and you'll move up the ladder much faster.
